The a1fa address ending

On EVM chains every token launched on ALPHA has an address ending in a1fa. The launch factory refuses any launch whose token address does not end that way, and the address is known before the creator signs.

The ending is a quick hint, not proof: someone could create a lookalike address outside ALPHA. Use the on-chain check below to be sure.

Check it on chain

Anyone can confirm an ALPHA token with three reads on a block explorer:

1. launchFactory() on the token must be the ALPHA launch factory for that chain.

2. isMarket() on that factory, given the token’s market(), must be true.

3. token() on that market must be the token itself.

A copy can reuse a name, a ticker or even the address ending, but it cannot pass all three.

The ALPHA token list

ALPHA publishes a token list at /v1/tokenlist.json on this site, in the standard Token Lists format. It contains every EVM token launched on ALPHA and every admitted EVM pairing asset, each with its logo. Wallets, aggregators and explorers that support token lists can import it to show ALPHA tokens with their logos.

Solana tokens are not in the list, because the format covers EVM chains only. Solana wallets read a token’s name and logo from its on-chain metadata instead.

Solana mints

On Solana every ALPHA token mint ends in a1fa as well. ALPHA prepares the address while you fill in the launch form, and the ALPHA launch flow only goes ahead with a matching address. The Solana program itself does not check the ending, so treat it as a hint and open the token on ALPHA to confirm its market.

Token details are permanent

On EVM chains the name, ticker, logo, image fingerprint, description and links are written into the token contract at launch. Nobody can change or remove them afterwards. On Solana the token’s metadata account is created immutable at launch, and the mint keeps no mint or freeze authority, so nobody can change its details or create more tokens. If a token you find elsewhere shows different details, it is not the same token.

The logo image, and on Solana the token metadata, is stored permanently on Arweave before the launch, and the token points to that copy rather than to ALPHA’s servers. Wallets and explorers keep showing it even if this site is unavailable. On EVM chains the image fingerprint lets anyone check that the stored image is the one fixed at launch.
